Formula V mourns passing of Race Pilot John Inman

4.11.09..........With deepest regrets, Formula V Air Racing has just learned of the passing away of John Inman. John was an easy going guy, but a very competetive pilot in all of the racers he flew. He was, without a doubt the best pilot I ever raced against. Formula V Air Racing has been engaged in giving John credit where credit is due. John won the "Seymour Shootout" race in 1999. That Championship race was conducted according to all the F/V rules including FAA waiver, flagman, pylon judges, ballast weight for John etc. It is listed elsewhere as an official race. Another pilot was awarded the National Championship twice for only racing once in each of the years. John is going to get the credit he deserves, albeit posthumously.................Dave Patterson.....president;  Formula V Air Racing
